Token
Oh I got the idea you couldn't make it. Does that mean I have to listen to you all the way down there? Or can I sock your mouth up? Anyway if you are definitely able to come, is there a possibility we can split petroleum beans?I need to speak to Partz or Will about the place they're staying so we can go there too. =)

Token
I'll try get it all sorted tonight, did you have to phone Travel lodge to book it? and I'm almost definitely coming on my own.
Fixed Pants™
Mat, wtf? I've told you i'll be coming in your car. However, i'm not too shot on this idea now, i REALLY suck on natural and don't think it will be worth learning to not suck at it, especially as i have about 5 rocks around here, and we rarely go on them. Token
So seeing as you never give a definite answer, and you don't like riding natural it's almost definitely a no. Thus me travelling on my own?Partz.... How did you book the Travel Lodge? I'm not too fond of phoning up and booking a room for
Shaun H
I'd love to join you Scopse and keep a complete stranger company, but I had a look on thetrainline.com and the cost of train tickets (£60) is just a bit too much. Plus once petrol, ferry and food costs are factored in with the £80 accomodation I'm bollocksed! I'll get in touch if I win a substantial amount of money by chance ha...Can someone figure out a rough estimate of the TOTAL (accommodation + a bit of petrol money + ferry charge shared + food) cost and I'll have a good think about whether I can spare the pennies. Token
Okay the ferry is about 40 quid each. As for accomodation... you fancy a tent? Cheap (aka free) and petrol we can sort out later, like when you have money, I don't know how much it'll cost to get there and back I'll work it out in a min. You'll need abit of money for food, I don't know how much you eat. If you could get the train to mine (Hastings) then I'll pick you up and we'll go from there. I wouldn't mind going for like 4 days rather than 6/7.edit: staying at a travel lodge works out to be 37.50 each, for 4 nights from the 26th. Or 48 quid for 4 nights from the 26th, breakfast included. I mean I'm quite desperate to have somebody come with me, so I don't mind paying for you if you can pay me back? Hmm could sort petrol when my student loan comes through in September I eat alot but even that can be done on a budget, food's certainly not expensive in France. If I did come I'd have to come down by train, doubt my parents would appreciate the drive...Shorter would also be cool, bit cheaper I guess.I'll wait for the rest of the figures... Token
Shaun H said: I'll wait for the rest of the figures...It's a 5:42 hrs journey, 316 miles. Calculated Petrol will cost 40 quid down there and 40 quid back. So call that 80 each and then 48 for bed and breakie is gona be 128GBP + a few pennies for bread? What do you reckon?
