Kinda shows how much money they were making when they brought them out at first.

That is exactly the type of comment I told Dominique to expect when I was at the factory on Tuesday.

In reply he said;

“What is the true value of last year’s model? It has lost its impact, we must clear the shelves for the new generation, we want a clean sweep, we do not want to cut the price gradually 2 or 3 times, so this is the final price now. It does not reflect the true value, but they have to go – not stay”.

The vast and varied stock carried by K124 takes some holding, I can see his point, they need room for the new models, not dead money hanging around. The potential supply is very limited, this will not last long.

Fred.

I wasn't even going to say what I did, incase someone took it wrong, I hope you didn't.

I'm not saying that they arn't worth what they were sold for, I wouldn't have bought one, because 1, I havn't the money and 2, I couldn't justify spending that much on a frame. That's my choice.

I totally understand he will want rid of them, and it's a good idea to get rid, I know a local shop who are still trying to get rid of pashleys....i'll say no more on that point.

What I don't expect is that he is selling them now for less than he paid for them, so my original comment still stands....

What they are 'worth' or their 'true value' and what they cost to manufacture, are differant things, I was more intrested in the latter really.
