Joe Papasnap Maher
Bascially, Ive got a 6280, had it for like 13 months..got 5 months left on my contract.Ive just sat on it..and f**ked the screen. I dont have insurance and all that jibber jabber. and the phone is shit, i actually hate it.Was wondering if anyone had an old spare 3 mobile phone lying about, that they have no use for and that i could take off there hands. After my car getting kicked in im kinda out of pocket..hence me needing it for free. I dont care how old it is..just need something to do the job for a few months. Willing to pay postage costs..Any help would be great. Luke Rainbird
May not be all that useful, but I've got that phone with 3 as well, and it's been nothing but trouble really. In the first few months it spent more tim ewith them being 'repaired' than with me (though nothing was ever done)I cracked the screen too, whilst riding, and simply sent it to them saying that last time they'd returned it to me, there was that damage to it, which they then believed to be their fault, and sorted it free (as opposed to £30 or so that they wanted me to pay)The phone's wank, though for £15 a month for around double what I normally use, it does the job, and I can use my old phone when I need to anyway
Fishy
I'll have an orange/o2 sim card and an old phone maybe tomorrow, or by the end of this week. As long as you send it back when you've finished you can have it as long as you want...

Spikenipple
Get a bit of money, buy an insurance policy, then wait a week or so and claim on it. It actually works

george_seamons
Sorry I didn't see this thread sooner, or I would have given advice! Its a piece of piss to repair. Just make sure that when you put it all back together, the contacts on the front buttony bit are fully connected, or the backlight won't come on, and you'll think the screen is f**ked...like I did mine, haha.
