ALEX@BIKETRIALSFUN
Hay people I am just wanting to know what is better to ride with at the moment I am running a hs33 on the front but seen so many people using disc brakes on the front but don’t know what is better for the front a bb7 or hs33 the disc seen good quality because so many trials riders use them for trials and they seen a good price let me know because I am thinking about getting one ALEX Edited June 10, 2007 by ALEX@BIKETRIALSFUN
max-t
They are definately worth getting but if you ride stock 185 or 203mm would be the better option oppossed to 160mm.
Ash-Kennard
bigger rotor=more power so 203 ***
Grant H
no offence but from what iv seen of you riding i don't think you'll need a 185 or 203mm disc...and because your pretty small 160mm should be fine.i'd just leave a maggie on the front, as long as you have decent pads it will be fine, just annoying if its loud. He will improve and when the time comes to do bigger stuff, it will save him having to buy a new disc and mounts for his BB7. I'd say get a 185 mate as 203 is a bit overkill.JK

Alex@Flawless Bikes
If you set up the hs33 well, eg. get a grind and some good pad it would work amazing! However having said that I changed my hs33 for a hope mono on a 183 floating rotor and I love it. I am still scared of hitting the rotor of failed side hops though! James-M
Yo Alex, are you planning on using your front brake more now? 'Cus from what i've seen you haven't been using it that much. But yeh, like has been said before, there isn't exactly that much weight to stop is there But it could also be about setting your brake up mint, and getting your braking finger stronger and more used to it.Anyway, see you round soon. mod_biker_barney
bigger rotor=more power so 203 ***You probs are right and im chatting rubbish but don't you need adaptors to have a bigger rotor...therefore making it more prone to weakness?(just asking don't take it as an offence!)
