David20
Alrite, bought a frame off of a mate, need to tighten the bottom bracket but don't have the tool. It's only got a couple of mm left as the tool f**ked up just before it was fully in. So I was just wondering if its possible to fully tighten without the tool? I would wait for my lbs to do it but I've got a demo on monday and I was hoping to ride it then.Any help appreciated. anzo
Cloth to save scratches/damage and some big pipe-grips. Works well. Edited June 10, 2007 by anzo
eskimo
The cloth and adjustable is definatly the right idea. You can also use mole grips, (is that even how you spell it?) I fitted my FSA one with mole grips without much damage to the bb cups at all.
