Muel
I have searched, but nothing.I am not a hard rider, but I have ground my rear rim so many times it dents when I rim it on a curb, so a new rim is needed.I need it to hold a grind well most of all, strength is also important, but I haven't flat-spotted my onza hog yet. Conor the basher.
Echo 07, holds grinds mega, strong as fook, sexi
Janson
mavic rims hold grinds the best. dx32 is second, and tryall rims hold grinds the least amount of time, in my experience.still, i only have to grind a handful of times per year with my tryall.. good pads work on dead grinds too. Technical Tom
I've found that Ronnie rims are quite good, but they do dent quick easly.
Muel
I was thinking of the Echo 07, The Try-Alls do come in lime green though...But really I just need a black rim to get me by until my new wheels get bought.EDIT: Thanks for all the prompt replys. tom e
try-all rims are really poor for holding grinds. i've found dx32/mavic rims to be the best. i used a ronnie for a short while, that also seemed to keep a nice sharp grind.
Gaz M
the best rim ever for holding a grind is a ronnie, you can get such a amazing brake from one of them. shame theyre so brittle
Ash-Kennard
ronnie's, dx32's, echo 07's and any mavic rims hold grinds really well.i use tryalls, i never rape them for some reason, they just get to a point where they start to dent all the time, then you know its time for a new one. Muel
Looks like I'm going for Echo, they seem to be the best compromise of stregnth and grind holding-ness. Thanks for all the replys.
