TykeTrial
Right, the Brimham National's over and we're getting ready for the 2-day ... if you're wanting to book food, we have to place the order tomorrow night (Tuesday) ... if you're entering the event, either Saturday or Sunday or both, we can take pre-entries up till Friday tea time. You can still book on-line from www.biketrialuk.co.uk entries page. Remember, we never refuse a late entry, but it really does help if you can get it in as early as possible! So, a bit more information ...FANCY DRESS1st prize for the best fancy dress (to be worn while riding during the Saturday comp then judged at the awards) £20 voucher for bike parts from Aire Valley Cycles or from Cleanbikes.TEAM TRIALRiders will be made up into teams of 5 on Saturday, one rider from each class (Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, Expert, Elite) by a draw when signing on so every rider will have a good chance of being part of a top team. Each member of the winning team will receive a £15 voucher for bike parts from Aire Valley Cycles or from Cleanbikes.AWARDSDougie Lampkin, world champion trials rider, is handing out the prizes for the day, and also the 2006 Championship awards at night after the food.Signing on on Satuday from 11.00 am, comp starts at 1.00pm --- don't be late as we have to sort out the teams first --- try to get there and signed on by 12.30 at the latest, you can always put your tent up while you're waiting!Weather forecast HERE but let's face it, they got it wrong last weekend, they said rain and even thunder and lightening for last Saturday, and it was glorious all weekend! So ignore the forecast, just pack the tent!See you next weekend. Oh, and don't forget ... Mums, Dads, boyfriends, girlfriends ... anyone and everyone is encouraged to join in on Saturday, just bring a bike (and fancy dress too if they want) fill in the form, sign on and ride. IF BARBARA CAN DO IT, SO CAN EVERYONE ELSE!!!! Edited June 18, 2007 by TykeTrial

Waynio
what a great day yesterday.just wish to thank all the people who organised it and i think to have someone like Doug there was inspiring to ALL the riders who were there, the kids were inspired that their motorbike counterpart was there.was a bit of a suprise for me for someone to tell me that Doug was going to be there all mapped out for a great days riding and the weather did not let us down. The marquee wasnt as big as last years!!!! but it was still pretty big, good to see so many youngsters there enjoying themselves.Wayne.
