trials_pimp
Is there an actuall difference in Front and rear BB7 calipers? Most times fromt and rear difference would be the lever and the length oh cable/hose.Looking for a BB7 ive noticed they sell them front/rear specific. Is there a difference in the calipers, mounts or rotors that make this?I dont care about levers, as I have one I want to use
Tomm
It's just the mounts, the front ones have a bigger mount (+20mm) so to run a front 185 on the back you'd need a disc that was 205mm. I think I've got that the right way around. Either way, you can buy the mount adapters separately.EDIT: Yeah I've got that the wrong way round I think. trials_pimp
so the caliper its-self is the same, just a 205 rear would mount up to be a 185 front.Awsome.
PaRtZ
Yes, a 180mm FRONT bracket is a 160mm REARA FRONT BB7 bracket is +20mm when used as a REARJust for improved clarity to answer you're question mr teeth, no a 203mm rear is a 223 front Edited June 8, 2007 by PaRtZ
