Charlie Jennings
You should slip a golden ticket inside one of the grips before shipping..................... To Me!!!
Tommy d
Haha golden ticket would definitely add a touch of class. It's good anyway though.Except I have a bit of a problem with it for myself, a moral dilemma even!If I won, I would have a really great bike built up... but I wouldn't want it. Bascially, Tarty don't stock half the stuff that my perfect bike would incorporate. That's not to say that they are a rubbish shop, on the contrary, it's just that stuff like EA70s, saddles, EX721s, 60a tyres and so on presumably wouldn't sell in large volume to most trials riders, so it doesn't make sense for them to sell them. (and yes, their only frame I like is also their cheapest...) Although I definitely consider myself a trials rider. So anyway, I would either end up cannibalising the bike and combining it with what I already have, and then be left with a load of parts to sell, or I could just sell the whole bike and probably not have to get a job next summer! However both of these options kind of seem against the spirit of the competition. I'd feel guilty. The other option is that I could get from the raffle a really nice second bike and start doing competitions (and get good at natural). Except no way do I have space to keep another (fourth!) bicycle, nor do I have time or money to start going to comps. So I guess I'm saying please hold another raffle in a few years time when I'm (hopefully) out of uni and in a well-paid job where I can take days off!By the way I hope nobody thinks I am trying to complain, because it is such a good idea. But feel free to give me moral advice on my dilemma!EDIT: Ironically, if I buy a pair of Tarty Raffle Grips, they will be for my DJ/DH bike cos the trials bike has to have Ritchey foam... Dan6061
These grips are terrible when your hands get sweaty, mine kept slipping off the bars!I don't like gloves either, especially in summer!Put one of the grips on the handbrake in the Mini. Not sure where to put the other...
