IOLO
i cant find what i want quite !all the deng mod hubs are either mini cassete freewheels or fixed hub with a deng cog.i dont want a profile, and i defff dont want a king.i just really want to get a rear hub that i can screw an eno onto !the onza T master is the best iv found yet !its light cheap and good bearings, BUT its got rubbish little bolts !! M6 ! and im not too keen on that !i will either snap the bolts, or the wheel will budge.any suggestions ? im gonna look at more monty hubs now.cheersiolo. King C
The thing is that pretty much all mod hubs except for deng and profile and king have those puny M6 bolts in 'em.If your still looking for some hubs try V!z or try-all or as you say monty

ben_travis
i have never had any problems with echo bearings at all aran.i would recommend the echo (but that said most people would argue that i would say that).i have run adamant hubs with no problems at all including a freehub for at least 8 months with NO problems at all. poopipe
bmx race hubs maybe? if you can find one that takes a freewheel of course. they're usually 10mm and you'd get a proper axle instead of stupid little boltsthese maybeyou probably want to phone up and find out about them first cos there's cock all info on the site Edited June 6, 2007 by poopipe
IOLO
ye good point.but bmx hubs are 36 and dont ever seem to be 32.i could always buy a new rim.but bmx race hubs are a bit heavy too, a solid steel axle ect.. doesnt help.this looks okhttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...atchlink:top:ukno idea of weight though.hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmiolo. Guest
monty? try all??Both good hubs, even if the try all is a little expensive.
basher
You can lace a 36h hub on to 32h rim aran. So i wouldn't worry about that. Just stick with your frame you got now and i might sell you my fixed steel tensioner if you want. Edited June 7, 2007 by andy h
PaRtZ
I've got the monty hub aran. If i set my brake up so it didn't rub it would spin really nicely also the bearings appear to be easy to replace if need be. only problem is the price mark...ouch...I can recommend them if need an opinion. No problems at all so far

IOLO
dude, your abit handy with the ol' lathe and all that, why dont you fabricated an axle for a hub to take m8 bolts?hmm i was thinking about this.could possibly make a hub take bigger bearings and then make an axle.for M8 or even better pro2 style M10 hmmmmmmmmaybe the T master is modifyableiolo

Will Arnold
what frame are you using it on man? and are you using chain tensioners?i've been using a t-master hub for ages and its ace neva slips with monty snail cams..BUT you can be a basher so maybe 're-inforcements' are needed?
