RobinJI
Pretty sure the half price replacemt policy works as, you get half the price of the product that failed off of whatever you want to replace it from the Onza range.

Has anyone seen my shoe?
Its not odd, cos then you could go 'Oh look I snapped my standard onza forks that cost £40 (guess). Im going to get a zoot half price'Just wouldnt make sense

Walleee
I really don't think they are bent. Not only are they steel but they are made with a certain amount of 'rake' on them, your forks legs should not follow the same line as your steerer if that's what your basing this on.You'd also probobly see paint discolouration around the area that has stretched if it was anything significant. measuring his wheelbase won't help at all cos his back wheel can move a good inch in the dropout's, the forks won't have bent that much.QUOTE(deanie-b @ Jun 5 2007, 09:43 PM) ←Yeah, it was an insurance replacement, lol.Are the forks actually bent? ScotchDave
The best way to tell, I've always found, is to look at the lower crown race and see how it's sitting with respect to the lower headset cup. Of it's not inline perfectly you're almost guaranteed a bent steerer tube...
Muel
^haha, if your unsure measure your wheelbase.SteveThey do bend, just measured my wheelbase after thinking, "Actually, mine look more bent than his,". my wheelbase used to be 1040mm, now its 1050mm.I like it long on my zona, the drop-outs can go all the way to 1060mm!! well 1070mm now. If my brake cylinders moved far enough back, which they don't.Echo lites soon, as soon as some money magically finds its way into my pocket. I really don't see the problem???that was a clever comment, seeing as you have a picture of a woman as your avatar? Is that what you look like? Funny for someone named Jake.Shut up.Saves me editing..On another note, thanks to anyone who helped out with my question. I'm thinking I will see where this ends out, it's the creaking sound that worries me, seeing as its been plaguing me since I noticed the forks were raking a little more than I thought normal Edited June 6, 2007 by deanie-b
Walleee
The differance is your picture could actually be you because your male. Are you saying it's not?Do you still think they are bent? I actualy thought I gave some helpful comments that hadn't been mentioned before having a joke at your hair.

To be honest, I think they don't look bent from the pics, look for stress signs in the paint. And Jake, if that pic is you, your well fit. :$

Well, wheelbase is 1035 with wheel right forwards in the dropout, so there's some form of bend in there..I'll ring tomorrow I thinks.TaDean
