gu_lew
well your obviously going to look a bit of a plumb if your wearing all black with white gloves on or summin lol, just wear cloths that match your gloves if your really that botherd, or you could not worry about what your wearing and get on with riding your bike lol. :

Barbra
get some balls and ride through the blisters you fanny! But seriously, you get a way better feel for the bike without gloves...so long as you ride through the blisters and get calluses
Captain Scarlet
I don't wear gloves. After a few rides your hands wil get used to it......Ditto that, but I always bring a pair in case my hands wanna screw about (which rarely happens).Only need gloves in the winter, as thats just for warmth. bikedude789
I'd try getting some foam grips like these: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=83They won't hurt your hands as much, depends if you like them or not thoughHope I've helped bikedude789

Louis p
i used to ride with gloves alot and my hands was ok but i still used to get calisters and they really do hurt but then i got some foam grips and stoped riding with gloves and my hands got used to it because the calisters go hard and you cant feel them. However now i ride with the try-all rubber grips and i personally think they are awesome for riding with when not wearing gloves. When the grips was new they hurt my hands for first few rides but after that, there fine, awesome for riding with, without gloves. also i think that riding without gloves gives you more control over the bike. Class Clown
get some balls and ride through the blisters you fanny! Si-man
Aslong as you dont look like michael jackson then what are you moaning at??Gloves are gloves. All you want is some plain ones with little to no padding and you will be fine.To the people who get blisters, how the f**k??I have never had a blister from riding bikes at all, just callouses and torn skin where the finger joins the hand. Bout it. Edited June 5, 2007 by Si-man
Johno85
I always wear gloves, even if i'm only going for a short ride.
tmks88
i get better feel of the bike with gloves, its like more grippy feeling, also its possible that your hands slip off the bar without glovesim using fox dirtpaw 06 gloves http://bikee.co.kr/shop/upload/mall/dirtpaw06red-L.jpg
Dan w
I personally prefur riding with gloves. I still have calluses but when i go out riding with no gloves my grips seem to get very sweaty . I am using try-all rubber grips. and six six one gloves.Dan
Bearded Midget
you could always use foam grips and get foam things for the levers, they sell them in halfords for not a lot
A!!
combination of bmx grips, and no gloves should sort you out, generally just ride through it till your hands harden up.
Captain Scarlet
Foam grips aren't very nice in my opinion, my friend had them, they make the bar really thin and grips feel a bit harder as they are so thin to the bar.Just get some Try-All rubber or Lock-on grips and ride gloveless. fessey
i think foam grips with no gloves would help and after a few rides your hand would stert to go hard and u wont feel it any more hope i helped fessey
Pagie
i use troy lee air gloves. so so good and they keep your hands cool and dry........and theyre are white! looks pimp imo.craigI must agree Troy Lee's are beast, i've got the xc gloves there light and thin but last for ages my last pair lasted about a year and my current ones are still going strong. Bit pricey at £20 but definatly worth it.
scottmarks2007
ridin gloveless in summer makes your hands slip off though
Simpson
Ive got these shitty rubber grips which get bear swetty and my hands are clammy 24/7 not my fault! so yea, just wear some decent gloves, they will wear and rip in a short number of rides though
