ridetrial
Hi, I posted a few days ago about buying a new bike. I have had a rethink and i've decided I want to spend between 500 and 600 pounds on a stock bike.I was thinking about a DiamondBack Kabuki Mono. Does anyone have any views on it, does anyone know the weight? It is on sale at http://www.nationalcycles.co.uk/product_in...ack-kabuki-mono £120 off, is it a bargain?Cheers! Gandalf the Yellow
try the search.... there was a few topics talking about it a couple of weeks back - from what i can remember is that its got a DROP bb, which is strange. really can't imagine it'd be excellent to be on the back wheel on like a lot of other 'new' bikes on the market.worries me that its only been out for a few weeks/months maybe and its already in the sale. its an alright starter bike though i supposesteve

Gandalf the Yellow
i haven't ridden anything else really, the 24seven holroyd seem pretty good but slightly more expensive, for £500 i'd recommend the phase 2.0? the red 1...i've tried the phase at work and the geo seem quite good, definately good updated geosteve[EDIT]: its fairly light too. and comes in a good spec for the money Edited June 2, 2007 by StinkEE
ManxTrialSpaz
From what I've heard, best starter, stock about is the Onza T-Rex. Like here The spec 1 is only £500 so you have plenty of money in your pocket for other things....but more likely repairs.
