Saving the earth/enviroment sothat we will all still be able to ride in 20/30 years time can't be a bad thing right? away with those power munching angle griners I say! eat some weetbix and use your own kinetic energy(or whatever).

And he actually thinks that guy wants to invest.

But this guy hasn't gotten anywhere by trying...

he has got groves on his rim which will improve his braking over a non-ground rim. It improves rim lifespan, and also improves his braking....that is more than can be said about a grinding disc grind.

he says in his post on OTN that his brakes have improved significantly....

so you'll be throwing out the grinder and investing??

nope, i just dont see the point in only seeing the negative side like so many have done.

he claims his brake works better then it did before (from his pictures it was smooth) so why flame him?

just a thought.

Not a bad idea. It can be really handy when your stranded in the middle of the desert and desperately need more braking power.

haha yeh.

he's like 'if your out with no power'

so, just check your grind before you go out then! It won't wear down that quick

It's still there.

It's the way he's coming up with a solution to no problem whatsoever. He's never even used an angle grinder and he's still trying to improve on the idea. I mean Jesus, angle grinders do a perfect job in no time at all and they're really cheap. What more would you want?
