What To Start Off On?

Recommended Posts

Well if I was just starting off I would start off on a small wall or curb or I would make some thing to ride on not to big just to practise on .

And what can you do all ready

BACK WHEELS

SIDE HOPS

ETC

But be careful you don’t go to big you might hurt your self just got with you own speed watch videos and try things like they do. hope this helps

Basically the best thing to do is 1.find a bunch of people to go out riding with....then watch and learn from them or, 2. Look at trials videos, a good place to start is "tricks and stunts" featuring Ashton and Hawyes or "Mastering the Art of Trials" by Ryan leech

The tricks you should really focus on are the basics......back wheel hops, moving onto pedal kicks......trackstanding.......pivoting and just general balancing.

Hope I've been of help.....Alex

yeah I have watched that but i haven't got a trials bike yet ( hopefully I've got the max bid on that onza t-pro on ebay :)

I'm practicing on my saracen zen1 mtb at the moment

ummm....... I can do Wheelie's up curbs and off curbs

.....Wheelie drops of walls........

.....Side hops

........A pathetic bunny hop ( getting about 1 and a half inches off the ground)

So I need help as you can see..

well when i first started conviently there is a car park next to where i live which has a small wall that gradually get bigger from about 5 inches. it was perfect and i would get something right then move about 1 metre away to a bigger bit. now i can wheelie hop it all. just keep practising youll get it.
