You dont have to be riding long to be mint anyway if your gonna be really good you will pick it up quite quickly.4.5 years is a quite long time anyways:S

yeah deffo, if you've got it in you it wont take long to get to a high standard.. im not saying if you've been riding longer than 3 years and cant gap 10 foot you'll never be good but usually if you've got what it takes you'll progress uber fast

Funny how it doesnt matter how long it takes you, yet whenever anyone's individual record is asked, the total magically gets time knocked off for messing around, injuries, winter, weather, girlfriends etc.

yea i would agree to a extent its only the past 10 months where i have started to go out properly and socialise i have realised what i have missed which is a bit of a bitch really.. but yea there comes a point that if you want to really get good at it you have to commit to it and be at it all the time where alot of us just want to have fun.

that is fair enough though - I mean if i didnt knock off time for not riding seriously, girlfriends, drugs, college, university, having babies, living in foreign countries etc I'd have been bmxing for twenty years and the fact i still can't do a decent 360 hop every time would be extremely embarrasing.

i always go down town out clubbing etc , infact all of us down mansfield go out cept joe b lol and thats only because he looks young. so i doubt it would with the good riders either. and it doesnt interfere with our riding, I know damon does aswell, social rejects! wtf! lmao

Hmm, not me :)

Clubbing / DJ'ing is my life!

most DJs are social rejects too

:P

only joking - sort of.

anyone who dedicates enough time to become really good at something is going to become a bit of a social reject, there's only 24 hours in a day.

When Biff came blackpool he brought a tub of creatine and protein shakes! wa downing the stuff like there was no tommorow, gapped a good 9 ft after aswell! though his legs are like pistons! and he is 6ft 1. For training he rides with weights in his bag and does sidehops constantly on and off of 7 with 40 pound.
