It may sound strange but prefer to be on my own because that way i can concentrate more on what i am trying to dial. all i need is my trusty ipod (Y).

although i do like group rides aswell as i learn off more experienced riders.

I dont really mind riding on my own, but if I was to choose between riding on my own, and riding with a friend then definately the friend.

I ride on my own if I've got half an hour or hour spare, the kind of time where it wouldn't be worth ringing a friend as I'll have to go back in.

Even when I do ride on my own its only local spots to my house, nothing really far.

But I find I get knackered more easily when riding on my own, as you have the whole spot to yourself, if riding with someone else you have to share the spot and take it in turns etc.

i have pretty good rides alone! just challenging yourself to do things a little bit better, or with a bit more control, i tend to send hours and hour at just one location though, because i just keep trying the same thing over and over, its good, becos then theres is no one to get bored of watching u do the same thing, and you can a full hours practise without being disturbed:) how i view it anyway.. i never go big when i am alone though.. far too risky.

One of the main reasons I gave up was having to ride on my own. Only other rider I knew gave up when he learnt to drive. There are a few locals, but none within 10 miles or so. And no good riding either.

If I go to portsmouth Uni, I will definately be buying a trials bike.

i kindof like riding by myself, it allows me to concentrate on certain aspects of my riding with out having to take turns or having an impatient b*****d want to move on all the time.

Music is gay to ride with as i keep breaking my mp3 players, but it does put you in a good mood ready to ride.

EDIT: and to Haz, there is a fairly big scene down portsmouth, and alot to ride. i think you would enjoy it

yeh iv been riding on my own for a while and i hate it, i did ride with someone but he sacked me off for hig gf, he perposly broke his bike just to use it as a excuse, he says he has no money to fix it when he is on £850 a mounth and lives with is mum i wish he would sort his life out and stop sacking me off, i havent seen or spoke to hin promperly now for about 5 weeks, that was totally off subject but i had to get it out lmao

so the answer to your question is no i dont like riding on my own for the simple reason i get bored and im scared of falling of herting myself badly and no one to help me :(

I really, really like riding by myself only nowadays... Not sure why though, its probably cos' I dont need to think about others finding the spot boring and so on.

I can spend the entire day at one spot if I find it entertaining =)

But its always fun to hook up with teezr and the other guys though, look at each others improvements and so on =D

I always ride on my own :( i hate it, i dont seem to be improving, but say if i go on big rides like into leeds, il come away with more skill and better knowledge on how to do certain moves, basically i have taught myself the basics, like gapping, sidehopping etc, now i want to progress and try bigger and more technical things, but its hard when you have nobody to watch and learn from, so if there is any riders from the Leeds area/ Yeadon area add me to msn.

Thanks (Y)

Adam.
