Jonny Jones
Just graduated but ive been a catering assistant for the past... 5 years or so?! Sucks. Easy money though. As most people can imagine I wanna get into TV and stuff - had my first bit of work experience on Monday, went up to Lotus in Norwich and spent all day filming an Exige S on their track, was amazing!JJ. Tony Harrison
You just reminded me of the old total trials "first cum shot" video! lol classIt was something like 'piss maself through ma tats' or an equally dodgy sounding title. Excellent video though... Congrats, pay rise?Naturally!

Decade Ago
Im a T.O (Technical Operator) for BBC Oxford. Ive been in TV for just over 3 years now, daily I do studio cameras, sound and operations. At least once a week Im out on the road filming and often providing live camera into the programme. Very occasionally I get to film the fun stuff, rigging Giovanrdi's BTCC winning car and filming him ragging the life out of it at Thruxton (He also took me out and I almost filled my pants at 135mph aquaplaining into a bend, in the rain). Rigging a Radical SR8 and puking after four laps round Silverstone. Hondas F1 Launch....blah blah blah. Its all good fun. Before that and during Uni I was a freelance music photographer, I was sick of chasing money round Bristol, London, Bournemouth and Southampton so I decided I would rather have a regular monthly wage and began working at BBC South in Southampton. BONGO
I'm still working for BT, 7 years in now.Changed things quite a bit really. I now sit on my arse in my office and play on computers all day. I work on a LLU team, which is a team that controls the Broadband side of BT, and also every other Broadband provider, like Carphone warehouse, Orange, Tiscali, Pipex, bulldog etc etc.The majority of people who apply for Broadband in the UK, regardless of who it's with, have the job's that need to be done to get them online, completed by Contractors for BT. I decide which jobs are done when, and by who, then i issure the work out to the Contract managers who deploy their engineers. I also carry out Quality checks on the engineers, on their working practices and work quality. I (not JUST me, but I as in, the team i work on) deal with faults that come in from the previous night's work, on a conference call i have each morning. It pays the wages, plus i enjoy it, which is a bonus. Nobody wants to go to work dreading the day. I've done jobs like that and it's no good.Bogno
