What's Your Job?

Some people in this thread have got much different jobs to what i expected the average person to have.

I'm in my last year of Sixth Form, studying for my A2s. Only a few months to go now!! I work part time for Halfords on a Saturday and Tuesday afternoon/evening after school.

I want to get into Architecture, as i have always loved desiging and planning, and have developed an interest in housing over the last few years. I've applied for Uni, and have got 4 conditional offers back for Architectural Technology :) I'm still not really sure whether i want to go to Uni, as i feel that i've had enough of education. Ideally i would like an apprenticeship because i would like to start earning some money, and i feel that it would be much more valuable for me.

I'm gonna start writing a letter tonight to send off to Architect's practices about an apprenticeship. I have spoken to 3 practices before via letter and phone, but all have basically said that Uni is the best way to get into Architecture :( Has anyone got any advice on how i should structure my letter, what i should include etc.? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I still work in a photo lab  but do the occasional bit of 'freelance' photoshop/editing work + sell the odd photo.

I worked in a photo lab for a while, some thing diffret, i just hated being stuck in such a hot room with no windos in the dark haha!

I've always been in two minds about bar work, on one hand you'd see a lot of your mates and be able to get wasted at the end of your shift.

on the other hand you'd have to put up with ignorant wasted pricks all night in a sober state and probably miss out on a lot of the weekend . . .
