My Levelboss Mod

This is my First trials bike. I bought a saracen mad 2.zero before christmas, shortly after i realised i should have ot somthing a bit better. so i'm tryin to build it into a half decent bike. So far i've put on a long koxx levelboss frame, a rear hs33 and an ACS freewheel.

There are still loads of problems: the rear wheel is a narrow 20" bmx wheel so i can't run the tyre at a low pressure or it rolls off and my rear brake only just grips the rim at maximum extension, both the axels are 14mm, the forks are BMX Style, i had to file away a small bit of one of the welds on the frame so the 22t chainring doesn't rub. But i've got everythink working well at the moment and i'm really enjoying riding at the moment so its not so bad.

And when you consider the whole thing cost me less than £300 and i've got loads of spares left over.

I'm planning on getting some echo lite vee/disc forks, a second hand rear wheel (pm me if your selling one).

tell me what you think?

cheers

Mike

get some tensile offset mounts for the rear brake , the work great with rims that are too wide/too narrow

Adam

thanks for the advice (Y) , i did think about that, but i've bought back wheel now, so when i get that the problems will be sorted.

No mate, 22-16, why? what would you recomend?

Mike

no problem bud but isent it a bit heavy considering the saracens weigh as much as a fat elephant ?

Adam

I think it is lighter now with the koxx frame even though the frame is actually bigger. but i don't no cos its my first bike.
