Mikeland
This is my First trials bike. I bought a saracen mad 2.zero before christmas, shortly after i realised i should have ot somthing a bit better. so i'm tryin to build it into a half decent bike. So far i've put on a long koxx levelboss frame, a rear hs33 and an ACS freewheel. There are still loads of problems: the rear wheel is a narrow 20" bmx wheel so i can't run the tyre at a low pressure or it rolls off and my rear brake only just grips the rim at maximum extension, both the axels are 14mm, the forks are BMX Style, i had to file away a small bit of one of the welds on the frame so the 22t chainring doesn't rub. But i've got everythink working well at the moment and i'm really enjoying riding at the moment so its not so bad.And when you consider the whole thing cost me less than £300 and i've got loads of spares left over.I'm planning on getting some echo lite vee/disc forks, a second hand rear wheel (pm me if your selling one).tell me what you think?cheersMike

toyota200x
I have heard 22-14 is the closest to 18-12(traditional mod gearing) a person can get.
