Posted May 24, 2007 Report Share Posted May 24, 2007 I have just brought a screw on sprocket that has 12teeth and i hvae an eaghteen tooth freewheel and i dont understand will this geering be ok or will it be like a t-bird gearing? RobinJI Posted May 27, 2007 Report Share Posted May 27, 2007 If it is 12 front 18 rear, then just switch them around, they must both be that same thread for that to work anyway, so whack the 12t fixed gear on the hub and the 18t freewheel on the cranks .
