Suspension Mod Frame

I think its a good idea.

Extra compression for springy moves, and absorbs drobs so less frame cracks/snaps.

I don't know why people should be bothered about the weight of bikes too, I dont think it makes a difference, its technique mostly. The only problem i can see is the chain slackening when the shock is compressed, as the pivot is behind the BB.

That could be gay.

ha, If rear shocks are anything like forks, it'd be cool to lock the rear shock out while compressed, mount a switch on the bar's to release it, and when your jumping up for a sidehop release the shock and up you go......

That's the only way I could se that being useful, otherwise it'd be boucning about all the time, unless of course it's pumped up hard so it's useless.

Yeah, but the problem is how do you set up the shock? slow re-bound would mean it would absorb landings well, but would suck all the energy out of hops, and fast re-bound would be nice and bouncy for hops and stuff, but hard to control on landings. There's no win-win. I think with really short travel soft tail set-ups it could be no worse than a hardtail, but then again it wouldn't be any better either, so making the extra weight un-necessary.

Thas also the shittest riding i've ever seen from Marco Blau

Well trying new things is good i spose.

Is it?!

Looks like its all welded solid to me...

OTN says it's amrko balu's bike. My instinct's said it was him when I saw the video earlier

;)

Fair play to the bloke on the full bouncer, pretty sure not many on here could do those gaps on a 'normal' trials bike!

 at the replies in this thread. I can't believe so many people are so negative. How can you say its going to be shit and won't catch on? Have you tried it? Do you have any basis for those opinions?

I personally love to see when people try things like this, and if they didn't.... well you would all have your nice shiny monty's and deng bikes would you! I'd imagibne the intention is to have it at a setting so as not to interrupt or hinder normal hops and gapping, but to be able to land larger drop gaps and general drops much smoother... which, lets face it... is what half the people who release videos nowadays really need.

I'd love to have a go on it, and with a bit more work, it could well be something we see in the future.
