NVWOCI WVS
right, heres my day upto this point....wake up...the usual breakfast, shower, brushing teeth stuff...go to school early (had to be in at 8.30 this morning)sit in the same chair in an exam hal for the best part of 7 hours doing 4 exams including maths core 1 and 2...i know i've failed already!get home and go for a ride...only to find i got a flat front tyre...dont have anyu puncture patches so fix it with with insulation tape...the insulation tape actually holds up!...then it goes bang! so i walk home with the bike to put a new tube in and all i can find is a 700c roady tube...so it's worth a try, and it's held up for the whole evening which is the only good thing thats happened all day so, riding on a bit of a dead grind at the moment, (just got back out after changing the tube!) and the first thing i do is just a back wheel up onto a wall, it's about bar height, but my brake slips and i go straight down, wind myself and look like a twat.so i get a call from a couple of mates i used to bmx with and go for a bit of a street ride with them...completely messed up a wall ride and headplanted the wall pretty hard.next we move on to this little bit where theres a bunnyhop gap...its pretty big, about 9-10ft(ish) and dinged my rim on that so im well pissed off now and my breakes feeling absolutely shite, slipping every time!so i sit down for a bit and just watch and i get a killer cramp in my calf...that was a bitch...then a group of 'chav' type people came over looking for a fight so we just walked away...not in the mood (and they were only about 12 so it wasnt really fair!)so...theres a bit of an oldschool flatbank to waste-height rail thing going on and i thought i'd go for it...had to be really careful with my brake so i was being as light and smooth as i could and landed it a few times then the rail just fell over as i back-wheeled it and i came down on the base of my spine again.so take a bit of a breather again and head upto this awesome playground place which looks like it was designed for trials riders! anyway, just went for a rolling back-wheel upto this rail thing, did it then dropped my bars a bit too low, landed on my sholdure which caned(broke my collar bone a while ago and it still plays up!) and buckled my front wheel so i went for it again and did exactly the same thing, but bailed a bit better this time anyway bit pissed off!i think if 'emo's regularly had days as bad as mine they could justify the way they mope all the time! (but there's no excuse for those fringes!)anyone else had a bad days riding/generally bad day?EDIT: spelling...and to top it off my girlfriends being gay Edited May 21, 2007 by samdoman

Stan Shaw
Thats a pretty bad evening lol. I think everyone has bad rides, you just got to forget it and look forward to the next ride..
James-M
The only thing that justifies these types of rides are the ones where you go out and totally nail everything, set some new records, and generally feel really good about yourself. They both happen, and make the most of it when you do have a particularly good day
Netherking
yeah man thats unlucky, hope ur alright! me and fyfe had a bit of a mash up ride couple of days ago. we tried some pretty tame natural for the first time which i was well looking toward to but not being great yet, everything the same height seems a hell of a lot harder due to what your taking off from and mainly nothing to put your front wheel on after you f**k up the zap tap but i stacked 3-4 times in a row managed to escape with only 2 battered knees really got to do more natural i can see my self getting in to it alot more when i'm a bit better hope ur riding ipswich soon m8 Edited May 22, 2007 by Netherking
