thinking of gettin a few new bits for my bike i.e. bar and stem and i was just wondering if anyone uses the simtra bar and stem and how it would compare to a onza riser bar (28inch) with a echo hi fi stem (think its the one in the middle) i done a bit of research on both stems and bars i.e. weight rise and price but what would you prefer

by the way if this helps heres bit of info on bike and that

wb- 1120

bb rise +35mm

my height 6.5ft

im just thinkin i dont wanna spend 30 odd quid to find out that this stems too short for me and its giving me back ache

your thoughts please

hey iv got the simtra stem.. i find it pretty sweet. Very strong and nice size.

Im just a hair under 6ft and ride a 1085 karbon with 25plus bb.. its ideal (Y)

runnin a 10mm stacker/spacer and some nice bars will make it feel mint.

Not sure how it will go for length for your height...but thats really up to you i thinks.

The stem is good value and feels right!

Its not the lightest out there though... but i like a bit of strength and its none too heavy either.

hope that helps mate... in the end id say give it a go and if u dont like it ... im sure some1 will(Y) and then u can work from that size to find out what size youd prefer... .goood luck!

cheers jibs that does help its kinda hard trying to find a frame with the same geo as mine lol with its 365mm cs :P

anyway i may buy the bars first see how they feel with the echo stem and see what thats like and i may go for a stem with slightly less rise bringing my bar height down a bit

its a 41inches at the moment
