JohnyMilton
Yea well they do it every year, but V-Brakes is not a Down-Grade, even when you buy an 07 onza from tarty cause they give Vbrake RockPads with it, so the Vbrakes are peachie with those pads on!Johny
lankyri
i wouldnt diss the onza vee brakes recently i broke my avid 7 vee brake so i needed a new front one but byron simpson on here had a spair vee that i could use and guess what it was ONZA TEKTRO i set it up the next day with the same cable and pads just the way i like it and i prefer the onza to my avid
chrishayton
V brakes are useless unless you run a booster or two. two is better as it eliminates flex from each end of where the brakes bolted on. also i havent seen the onza ones but i can pretty much guarentee they have flex calipers and no adjustment on the levers, you want v brakes then spend a lot of money on them. if not get a magura and yeh i think onza have took the p**s by specing their new range with Vs personally. N.Wood
Yeah go for it. The kinda grey/brown T-Pro frames are pretty good for the price, good luck with it.

Simpson
I sold my brand new condition T-pro a year old for 150quids, dual magura's. The vee brake thing is taking the piss as they dont even work.....
Captain Scarlet
As already stated, Vee's are not a down-grade but definately a cheaper alternative. My rear onza Vee brake I had as standard worked as good as my rear Hs33, and the Vee didn't have any special bits, it was completely standard.I think it is a bit of a bad descision, as I was only just able to get the T-Vee, as my parents are not used to the idea of paying so much for a bike. One thing that cheesed me off a bit, and lots of people agree with me, is the fact how Onza make parts in such a way that new ones will need to be bought in the future. An example of this is the V-Brake mounts, why not have 4 bolt mounts?, why have a trials bike with a thin wheel?, etc etc.I think if Onza keeps their Mod bikes at this price or goes higher in the future, then they will lose in the competitive market aimed at beginner trialers.
