br3n
Ye i've done 2 years national diploma 3d design, just finnishing my 2nd year higher nd and next year doing my B.A. (5 years ) real world here i come you can get trial versions of almost all the software... You'll often get taught autocad at college/uni but its definatly not the best program...Fir quick models/renders rhinocad or sketchup seem to be pretty good.. (no links, use google)

King C
Wow thats kinda impressive. I know the rendering could be better but the modelling itself is quite good.
OD404
Not necessarilly CAD, but the work I've done with CAD is reletively uninteresting to look at. So here are some screens of the CFD work I did in my final year at uni.
poopipe
nowhere near done yet but what the hell, I had it to hand. I've been playing stalker, I like ladies. obvious result = model of lady in a gask mask.

Tom Booth
I know it's not C.A.D, but it's the design I posted on the last page, its the development and final piece of that. Took 2 weeks to make. Im really impressed, it's a storage system for people who have little wall space in there house, but mass area's of glass, my tutor recons there's a problem for these people. Haha. It's now on display in Mansfield Museum till tuesday, Some kid was playing with the suction fitters yesterday thou and left the top one loose and it fell down, shattered the finish on the red box and smashed the suction cup, Its back up now thou fitted again with a new suction cup. King C
Looks hot.^^^Its not my work but whilst browsing through the interwebs, looking for images for my Unit 4 project, I found this site. If you go loook through it at roughly the middle you'll find something pretty cool. There are animations aswell. poopipe
ok I've just been browsing my tuorial site and found this...The thing you have to remember is....that this is MODEL and ISN'T real.....I know that name. of course it's cheating really - making a car that was originally designed in CAD.this is clever (can't find the colour version which is a bit of a shit)Steven Stahlbergedit:: it's not porn cos it's CG (and it's black&white) Edited June 23, 2007 by poopipe
samo
I like CAD This was my last project, styling the bodywork for the uni's Formula Student car. A few screenshots of various views, with proposed livery. The best thing about this project is that its being made and will be raced! Currently in final stages of the full size clay model.that snap-on car is amazing

Todge
In relation to my previous post - here she is!Actually quite amazed at how well its turned out, and the colour is soooo sweet! Shame theres no graphics and a few details have been simplified for manufacturing, but for Formula Student standards, it looks damn good.First time I have seen it, so Im quite happy
