NileBrown™
I have a Maxxis Creepy crawler rear tyre on my '07 echo rim and after doing a drop my tyre starts falling off the rim and the inner tube starts to bulge. I'm pretty sure this is because my rim is slightly small and if snug wouldn't bulge . The tyre fits tightly on my onza t-master rim but not my echo. Has anyone had this problem at all ? If so could you recommend a decent rear tyre that people know for sure will fit snug please.Cheers Nile
GlynnP
Had this same problem awhile ago but mine was due to my rim being distryed with loads of dents and small flat spots. It was also due to my tyre being really old and the sidewalls not being very strong.Bought a new tyre and it sorted it , till i could get a new rim. NileBrown™
I have to say that my sidewalls do look a bit tatty but I just don't understand why my tyre fits perfectly tight in my onza rim and not my Echo Nile
Hendrix
check that you have some grip for the in side of the tire to grip on.If in doubt, get a new tire, they're not expensive
call_the_police
I used to get exactly the same problems with my Echo rim and Maxxis tyres. Reason being is that the Echo rims have a low-profile braking surface, which is smaller than your Onza wheel and also Maxxis Creepy Crawler tyres tend to have weak sidewalls and beading. The way I sorted it out was by buying a Monty Eagle Claw tyre which fitted nice and snug, and has been designed with passion!
