Token
Yay XTP and now 221ti (okay so I'm unbelievably poor now)So it's really almost finished, the rear BB7 is so immense it's almost indescribable.Going to build a front wheel and get some white monty ti bars when the Tarts open up. Then that'll be about it really, looking forward to getting out on the rocks. I'll make a new topic when it is actually done. Please don't say 'should of got an adamant or gu 07 mate' because I will use various methods of penetrating you and you will be crying. Token
deng bummers stay away, but you have echo forks?????Had a feeling that was going to come up, yeah okay I do have deng parts on my bike but I have reasons: partly because they were trade price, and they work (but they look like they're from toys'r'us) personally, I dont think deng makes the best parts and I guess I'm fed up with the same adamants and same GU's with the same parts, its all a bit too generic for me. Don't take offense it's just what I think.I'm really contemplating building a onza hog drilled rim onto the blue front echo hub, but I'm not too sure. Might look a bit pants. Wish the tarts would hurry up and open! Think the bars will look pretty good.
omgnoseat
Very nice dude, so jelous What size is the rear bb7? it's hard to tell from the picI was thinking of getting one for my 221pr, so how do you like it till now?
Token
It's a 185 rotor. It is really so good, has the bite of cousts, the modulation of a normal bb7 and the hold... it's like chucking a barge pole through the spokes. I always found maguras to be great at biting and stopping you slipping forwards but they never held if you were getting up a wall an the tyre was on the edge, this is where the bb7 really shines you can't budge the wheel at all. Not to mention the ease of setting them up, no bleeding, no leeking or lazy pistons. Don't need a true wheel and you don't have to keep grinding so you get a longer lasting - stronger wheel, Oh and they are silent so all you can hear when you gap is your freewheel clicking, beautiful.
