I seem to remember it's only available on VHS or something, not 100% about that though. It'll probably be in a Halfords Bikehut though, they seem to just stock Revolution and Evolve from the last few I've been in :P

Does anyone remember that thing about JJ Gregorowicz and some other Brisa rider getting in all kinds of controversy for strategically dabbing to get over stuff and the huge american comp I've forgot?

That shit was all over biketrials.com in the day.

hahahaha thats quite funny, i seem to recall that happening years ago in a british champs round in shropshire, certain pros dabbing over a huge tree stump. anything to get through a section (the technical dab). i guess its all changed now, i was told that you cant dab so that both feet are on the same side of the bike, dunno if thats true though  , its all gone crazy, lol

Cristiano Santos? Pretty sure it was him. I know I saw a video of him "strato dabbing" pretty much an entire section at Motorama. Back in the day when trials wasn't about how good you were, but how flexible and limber you were? :P It still happens in UCI comps, downer but there we go.

The rule is that your foot can't cross over the centre-line of the bike, I think? So you can't step-through and do it or whatever. People still use their feet to hook the top-tube and stuff to lift the bike when they do it though, so maybe it's not fully enforced.

i reckon speedtrials (like in the revolution vid) should be a discipline alongside normal comps, wont ever happen but would show of riders talents even more an bring in loads of street riders i think. would be more spectator friendly too. bring back the old skool (Y)

also that scene in evolve has thibault marriaux in it, another amazing rider

Yeah, the non-dabbing foot can't cross the "horizontal axis" of the bike or it's a 5.

Got a couple of mates in USA who rode with JJ bk in the day...

He actually lost all interest in trials competitions (probly got sick of winning everything) He was multi national champ as well as junior biu world champ at a very young age

Went off bikes all together and started smokin//drinkin etc.. the usual teenager things.

Good to hear he got back into ridin. Kids a freak!!

If anyone can remember the DEATH series of videos featuring lloyd, steidly, and others... they will remember how good jj was both outside comps and in em!

He was doing that when he was riding!!

One year he kept moaning at my dad for smoking, then the nex year we saw him, he was smoking! haha

He was genuinly one of the nicest/ coolest riders around, glad to see he's still about, not dead or in rehab or something lol

martin klevard has such a nice style

I don't even need to watch it again to remember. Soooo smooth and bouncy, (in saying that it was the guy on the Orange Cresent wasn't it??) Pitty he didn't have a full section.
