Haha, that comeback didnt make them win the treble. Heres why Liverpools was better

1) Italian teams never loose from 3-0 down (Man United know this)

2) It was in a cup final, against the form team of the cup, the defending champions

3) We lost 2 players in the first half through injury

4) We won it without a single mancunian in the team :P

Anyone know what kit we are playing in?

I hope its the green and white one, I want to wear mine on champions league final day and show all the Man U fans

Found out the answer

Milan chose to wear their all-white strip for the final in Athens, despite being drawn as the "home" team for the match. This is due to the kit being their "maglia fortunata" (Italian: lucky kit), having won the European Cup/Champions League in this kit on five out of the six times they have won it. However, they have lost finals in this kit twice, most specifically against Liverpool in 2005.

This decision by Milan means that Liverpool will play the final in their traditional home kit of red shirts, red shorts and red socks. Each of Liverpool's five European Cup titles have been won when the team played the final in their all-red strip, and two of these came when they were playing against Italian teams who played in all-white

Aye but there was a foul cant remember who was it but the ref should of brought it back becuase that was the moment when Gerrard scored and insipred his team to win. I'm sorry but our 7-1 thrashing was much better :P.

Best come back i think i have ever witnessed was Manchester United vs Barcelona i think it was Barcelona anyway.

Anyway. About the 88th minute Man U are 2-0 down and they get a corner. They score off the corner. about the 90th minute they get another corner and score off that Bringing the game to 2-2 to take it to extra time and Man U won.

Danny.

Beating a crap team with many injuries isnt impressive :P

huge bit biased here but the 99 final, the year utd won the treble, against bayern munich was the best comeback ive seen liverpool do play well against european teams, they grind awaya dna are hard tyo break down at the back. man utd were just plain awful in the second leg and deserved to lose, but i dont think ac milan will be good enough on the night against liverpool.

oh and im a man utd fan.

Both teams are really good. Milan I would say are the better team however Liverpool just play so much better in cup games than they do leagues.

I can see if being a boring match either 0-0, 1-1 and going to penalties like 2005, and liverpool winning again.

i am so foofing excited about the champions league, i don't know why but something about european tournaments just gets me so much more excited than say the premiership or the f.a cup. Not a Liverpool supporter but by the grace of god im gonne be cheering for them against milan, when they met two years ago it produced some of the greatest football i have ever seen, and i'l never forget it. Plus il be watching it in Liverpool so its all good! All those of you who say 'ahh footballs for chavs' open your mind a bit and appriciate the majesty of it all, and have a pint, it will relax you. Peeeeeace.

Odds are:

8/11 for Milan

6/5 for Liverpool

But could be injuries or something that will affect it.
