Dont critise me im only 12, but i thought it would be a good idea to have lights on a bike.

I dont know what you could use them for, but i thought (if your actually worried about it) you could use them for saftey so if your doing trials at night you can be seen easily.Post your ideas but dont start saying its a stupied idea

I was once stopped by a police car in London...I think it was year 2002.

I was rolling down the hill on the road in the night...the officer stopped me and said something like:

"All right kid. I hardly noticed you on the road. You have no lights or reflectors at all. This is very dangerous. If you want to ride in my area, then you are to buy the lights for your weird bike. Next time I see you here with no lights on - you will get into trouble".

His speech sounded convincing so I went to a bike shop next day and got myself a set of LED lights. :)

The added only about 30 grams each. I only used to put them on at night. So there was no weight problem at all.

Yes, it was funny: superlight titanium mod bike with XC lights on it. My London trials friends especially liked the "knight rider" mode :)

I think lightweight LED lights are a good idea for any bike. The cars and pedestrians see you. It is safety.

...check out the pic. You can see the light holder on the seatstay :)
