Spain Allows Singlespeed 26` Bikes At Regional Competitions

I come from Slovakia (at the moment in London though) and I am interested in how it is in UK with allowing singlespeed 26` bikes at competitions. Slovakia, Czech rep. accept these bikes and acctually in this way support singlespeed 26` bikes at trials competitions (also UCI accepted this new rule). I believe all the 26` riders (at least those ones I know) would be very happy if this was implemented into the international technical rules (there are many reasons why this would be positive change - safer, cheaper, lighter... so on.. you know it better then me :) ). So I am just interested in your opinions on this matter and how it is acctually at the moment in UK. Thanks ;) kat

Dude i dont know what its like in the uk as i dont do comps but i think the rules state that you have to have 3 working gears but as i said i dont know.

Id love it if you cud use singelspeed because as you say it wud be alot better and maybe more people will try it.

I have one question to ask aswell can you use 24" bikes at comps??
