kat
I come from Slovakia (at the moment in London though) and I am interested in how it is in UK with allowing singlespeed 26` bikes at competitions. Slovakia, Czech rep. accept these bikes and acctually in this way support singlespeed 26` bikes at trials competitions (also UCI accepted this new rule). I believe all the 26` riders (at least those ones I know) would be very happy if this was implemented into the international technical rules (there are many reasons why this would be positive change - safer, cheaper, lighter... so on.. you know it better then me ). So I am just interested in your opinions on this matter and how it is acctually at the moment in UK. Thanks kat

tomtrials
I can't find the point of having 3 working gears to enter. why do they have to have a certain amount of gears? surely it is a disadvantage to have single speed?

Matt_Tupman
I don't think there is a single club or Championship in the Uk now that asks riders to run gears. Thats including the British Championship.www.ukbiketrial.co.uk for more competition information.
