Erm yes i would get a pro 2 but they have been known to skip but not badly.

A mate of mine got one and one day he went out to ride and all it did was skip but they he went back to it the next day and it was fine  , one of jesus' miracles i guess :P

But yes a pro 2 or king recommended :P

p.s make sure the pro 2 is trials specific (Y)

Hay dudes my Dmr revolver has been slipping. I was about to go fore a back wheel and it went altogether and it was not engaging then it came back can any one tell me what is going on.

My brother had this problem on his revolver , i stripped it down for him and rebiuld it and never skipt since, (been about 1 year of hard riding).

My hope has minced itself before now too! The ratchet ring which is pressed inside the hub got completely knackered! Sent it back to hope and the replaced it all though! :D

I was looking at the DT swiss free ride hub the other day at the Bike show and that seemed to have a lovely freehub in it. Didn't get to ride with it or anything. I was just spinning it by hand and the engagement felt amazingly positive. Reckon it could be a great trials hub!

Anybody had a go with one?

instead of buying a new hub you could just clean your current one.

spray a shitload of GT85 into the ratchetty bits so all the thick grease and dirt comes out, put it back together and ride till it happens again

My dmr used to do that... once it starts its on its way out. Mine used to last around 3 weeks before it started dying again. Good thing is though, they have a 2 year warranty, which folloshly covers trials riding. Take it to a local DMR dealer (distributor list on dmr site) and they'll fit a new freehub system for just the cost of labour.
