My new frame: Echo pure '07...it's amazing :D streety but natural at the same time.

stays:38 or 38.5 (not sure)

base: 1085

bb:+2 (maybe with this for a bit lower)

Fork: magellan cromo

headset: FSA

rear wheel: LX silent clutch on a winman DH 39 (soon ringle hub maybe) schwalbe space

front wheel:Bike+ hub on Sun Rhyno Lite drilled rim with radial spoking...some missing LOL , contiental vertical pro

pads: koxx blocks(rear) plazmatic-v (front)

crancks: shimano

stem: zoom

bars: point downhill

It's a nice looking bike well done (Y)

There seemed to be quite a few European riders who recommend running a Jubilie clip around the Shimano clutch hubs to increase their service life (they tend to break due to the outward force applied by the system).

Yeah but this way I think it has a pretty long life...i hope this will last until i get something else :D but i always had silents and the are pretty good hubs ;)

So that silver spacers makes the hub last longer? Please explain.

I can't remember the exact mechanics (is there a diagram anywhere?) but basically when the clutch system engages it puts alot of pressure on the hub outwards. Shimano hub bodies aren't particularily thick. By putting on this ring, it adds strength to the shell and helps stop it breaking.

Yeah of course...this is my 2nd silent clutch hub and never skipped...the other one had problem with bearing so i chnaged but no skipping problems ever :D
