Heatsink Cnc Backings

If its strong glue hot water takes an awfully long time.

Stick them in the oven and keep trying to get them out every 3-4 minutes while they are heating up. Should be able to pop them out easy enough and not affect the pad material.

Be careful with the rimjam backing though, plastic ones get hot, metal ones really hurt!

At the very most, to avoid bubbling pad material  .

Finally, due to rider demand I've added the option to my site to buy the CNC Magura backings without pads :)

Had to perserve with Paypal and was armed with copious quantities of wine to make it work!

Bring on summer riding (Y)

I hope the price is ok!

Another thought on the glue: When you add some superglue to the pad, before it cures it acts as a lubricant, helping you to slide the pad in (Y)

Sounding a good plan Steve,

Pass over some details later on, and I shall update my stock listings and Paypal payments. Also, quickie while we are here, whats retail on the Gold backings without pads? Had a few questions about them, but I wasnt sure of the pricing.

TF admin consider it naughty for shops to talk component prices in posts. :$

All the info is up on my site (Y)

For the gold backings Andy, there is a only a limited quantity, so I'd say let them go for the same price as the silver ones to the first who is interested (Y)

Can you do refils for plaz vee backings as i dont have money for some new heatsink ones at the mo and got these plaz ones uber cheap. Its stupid that plaz have made them a different size but anyway if you can do refils for them that would be great.

Hi Andy,

I can make refills for Plaz Vee backings (Y) If you pop me an email we can arrange it.

I'm answering emails quickly at the moment if anyone else has a query, rather than hog TF up!
