Pashley26
Ha ! I want ones that will set off an earthquake lol EEEEEEEEEK the brakes on my motor bike are just bedding in, and i don't have to use my brakes until i'm doing aboout 50 going into guildford, so first time i use em in he morning they are SOOOOO FOOOKIN loud, i can hear them over 9000rpm and an expansion pipe inside a helmet ? first time i rode it i pulled over cos i thaught my wheel had come off it was so loud !!!!! everyone looks at me funny to lol theother day the bearded lady of guildford was walking by the bus stop and my horn dosen't work, so i just jammed on the brakes lol.....no point in using the back brakes though, the only way thats gonna stop the bike is when the pedal's digging into the floor !!!! ha

Pashley26
Yeah ill second that statement. Rimjams are loud enough to wake up the dead! and do they grip well ???? and are they a nice colour lol !!! oj oj might get some then.......i don't care about how ong they last, i'd even grind fookin great gouges in my old rim just so i could pull up when all my mates are around and kill em all with my brakes lol.....hmmm jyst imagain all the little shits gathered around the tables where we ride waitng for me......EEEEEEEEEEEEEK.....sirens, ambulances, blood gushing outa ears lol
Rusevelt
Well the pad backings are powder coated white, and the pads themselves are kinda dayglow red. Rimjams could certainly exceed 90 decibels on a sound loudness test. and the sound itself is almost as bad as scratching your nails on a blackboard but much louder. and we all know the feeling of that on our bodies :pad bite is probably under par against Rockpads. Egg Fried Rice
The loudness of a brake has alot to do with your frame and brake set up as well. If you run a brake without a booster, i found this to beevery loud.JK
Danny Swindlehurst
Rimjams, mine havn't broken yet though give them time...mine are proberly what ive got in atm there a bit stupidly good Edited May 11, 2007 by Danny Swindlehurst

kid creole
This seems pretty stupid !! its more important the brake works then sounds loud but seeing as your only interested in the sound , my mates onza citrus pads on a koxx rim with a fairly harsh grind was ridiculously loud if you drag the brake it was like torture , the pads didn't last long thou only a week or two. Greetings
Cousts in CNC backings from heatsink.or even better regular 30mm (or something like that) coust pads on a harsh grind and with tar

Matthew_Gibson
Rock Pads (the green ones) and a gently skimmed rim, loud as buggery And the dam good pads too/. Also Zoo pads on a very light grind with tar. Not that good though, slip a bit. Or maybe my rim was a bit too gash. But Rock pads (greens) Heatsink reds have a nice squeak to them. Gave me real confidence. That was on a medium grind, with CNC’d backings. Onza Citrus pads, ace pads LOUD AS f**k! Check out my "vid 7" in my sig

ben_travis
i wasnt saying this was a shit post. but just in general many people hate shit posts, some have considered this a shit post, others not.maybe its the way you wrote it first. its a pretty N00b question to ask to be fair, but meh, if you want noise then you ask what pads make the best noise.
