28 Weeks Later

Easily the best zombie flick to date. no happy endings. virus wins hands down. Only thing i didnt like was the 2nd main death scene. that was brutally nasty. if any of guys have girlfriends, i guarantee you that she will not watch that scene from beginning to end. mainly its because its a woman that gets taken out in the worst way possible to watch (N) (apart from when HOSTEL2 comes later this year). worthy of a sequel (Y)(Y)(Y)(Y)(Y)

Vue Cinima - best when you take a female in, because they look the other way - ;)

most of the locals round here, throw you out for any... naughty things... even kissing... of certain types :shifty:

Looks shit, full of americans, spolit it
Yeah possibly. i mean Danny Boyle, (director of 28Days) ended up directing that slow sci-fi disaster flick SUNSHINE. As long as the main elements from 28days are there, it should be good. Edited by Rusevelt

28 days later was a load of shite. Bored the poop out of me. I'm going to have to assume 28 weeks later is going to be just as crap. I'll probably end up watching it just for the sake of it but not paying to watch it.

There's a cinema in Belfast that charges £12 a ticket. But it's the VIP suite. There's only 48 seats in the screen and they are all leather recliners, plus there's free refills on the drinks and popcorn.

Will be checking this movie out at some stage but not in the VIP screens.

So in the end its not that a bad deal.

I could eat and drink my £12 worth, let alone get my money's worth watching a film...

It costs me £9.60 for a standard ticket and a large coke at Vue in Leeds. Id happily pay the extra £2.40 for all that :)

anyone else think that was absolute wank? The only way you could affiliate that film with 28 Days Later is the zombie/killer things. Rest of it was totally different. Even down to the camera work, it did'nt have the same feel to 28 days later at all. Still, some f**king good scenes

you guys are getting raped for cinema ticket prices. i got charge £3.50 for spiderman 3 :o
Thats nothing. Prince Charles cinema in west end london charge £1.50 and £2.50 for afternoon/evening flicks. though you have to be a member. £5 for 1year membership discount, and £15 for lifetime membership discount. You dont need guess which membership i went for. As for sequel to 28 Weeks Later! no need. we know the french will get wiped out by the "RAGE" virus (Y) ,so there is no point in a third sequel as we have seen how brutally savage the virus is in the film. Im gonna wait a month or so till it gets shown at Prince Charles cinema, so i can try and stomach that death sequence where the woman gets her savaged by her infected husband. Nasty stuff.

Yeah ill second that. very little to fault it from the first scenes of the savagely fast and brutal infected, to the re-population of london docklands (Canary Wharf), to the bruatally nasty death sequence in the hospital  , to the sniper attacks where everyone is getting pinned down, to the air strike where everyone gets blown to f**k, to that savage helicopter sequence where the multiple infected get chopped to pieces  . And an ending of a possible third sequel in europe. RAGE Virus is coming to f**k the french over.
