Nick Garland
Has anyone actually got any proof of water damaging plastic/rubber seals? The only bad thing I know about running water is that it does not lubricate the pistons as well, nothing that flushing the system with some royal blood of some WD40 will not fix.I am currently a water bled mag rider myself and to be honest I do not want to go back, oils just seem so slow to respond and release the lever back, I can see the upside of the lubrication though. Up'n'away
Ok, water indeed is by far the best feel for the leaver and power id say, and i cant see it damaging the seals ect if you use mineral bottled water, maybe tap water as its treated but then again, we drink it and it doesnt corrode our stomachs right? As soon as i can be assed i am changing the oil in my set up to water as personaly i hate the feel..But if you dont want to use water id just stick to the 'royal blood' Edited May 5, 2007 by Up'n'away

steve1rc
I would have thought that using water allows the lever to come in too far, i like my le ver to stop and lock without play. If it does that then it'll save me a whole lotta money.
