AdamR28
You may have seen our Pro2 Trials rear hubs with TartyBikes logo, but thanks to the guys at Hope we now have another new product to offer!First up is the Hope Tarty Trial, identical to the standard Mono Trial in functionality but we have the calipers and lever bodies custom anodised in black. The lever blade will be silver, the bore cap black, and the lever body has a TartyBikes logo laser etched onto it. The top cap will be the 'Union Jack' version seen on some brakes in magazine tests. I haven't got a detailed picture of this brake yet as it seems to have gone missing on the way back from the NEC, haha, but its the Hope brake on the right in this picture for anyone who saw it at the Bike Show: http://photokool.com/bikeshow/pages/Bike_Show_4570.htm (cheers Joe).RRP will be £140.The Tarty Trial SL is the same as above but comes with £60+ of upgrades including: Hope Carbon Lever Blade, Hope Ti Rotor Bolts, Hope Ti Caliper Bolts and Hope Ti Lever Clamp Bolts. This brake will retail at £180.These custom brakes will be available for purchase in around 7-10 days, and will be available in all current options (160, 180, front, rear, left hand, right hand).More pics and info as soon as our stock arrives!CheersAdam

joe b
I think they look fresh as f**k, guys !I don't usually like the 'Hope' union-jack flag logo thingy's - they normally look a bit tacky, in my opinion - but they look great on those brakes .Cheers,Joe. guineasmithpig
good on you guys. i'm sure there's plenty of people who would just go for the ultimo pimp factor, even with the extra outlay. why have the same bog standard brake as everyone else, if you can afford something a bit pimp? (Juicy 7 carbon on my revell dirt street rig. i cringe everytime i bail, but smile everytime someone says 'oooooooo, carbon brake!') and the brakes look very swish.good effort boys Smithy

TrashZen
nice, looks PIMP.im waiting for someone to go back to the old "black" hosing, christ if your going to save weight do it right boys....... does look the dogs barlocks.Silver bore cap Black caliper, black lever, silver blade, owww!!! that would be sweet, might ring hope and order some freebies to pimp my ride.Waynio.........................I must say this a clear recognition of TartyBikes as a fine shop, by a serious components manufacturer (well done Adam/Dave )And probably, Hope is still a small enough factory to be able to look at independent needs without only betting their bucks on the mainstream markets. They also made a custom lever for Kenny Belaey...Looks pretty lusch too!!!By the way, Hope is replacing my stem . Top notch people!

Martin t
So you're paying for an extra logo on the same brake?? Sounds stupid imho, sorry to say that because Tartybikes is a great company and i buy lots of stuff from them but i dont get the deal with a brake called pimped but it only has a extra logo. The sl has all the "out of the box" parts you can buy at most other shops like CRC + logo.
Oskar
+1The cool thing with these brakes are the color, I would never buy a part with a tartybikes, or any other company for that matter, logo laser attacht on the part... No matter how good tartybikes are.
The Drews
Show off! but I do love it though! If I didnt have a Try-all one I'd buy one I think!

I am not sure what you are talking about here, the price Adam quoted as the RRp for the new brake was £140 (which i gues was for the 180mm version) which is ecatly the same price as the 180mm std hope brake, so how is it more expensive?????Adam
