basher
That is sexalent, it is really nice wish i had the money to just go and buy a whole new bike. What a beast brake set up, would of prefered a bb7 203mm on front meself but i bet the brakes are kick ass. Looks like white is the new silver now in the trials community. streetjibs
thanks guys...I dont like the look of stackers either mate... but its my first "uci" bike which is funny since iv ridden the better part of 9years (last 3 bikes - ashton 24, pashley, fit delarosa) so u can see im having a real change ere and gettin bk to my roots! lol So wasnt sure about bar height yet, didnt want to cut steerer. I think il cut it today so to leave 1spacer under and get used to it yeah a rohloff would have been nice ... 1 day!, but i think the only thing id like to try on it is maybe a cnt monkeylite dh bar.the pads im using are Jagwires. Absolutely amazing performance and still allow a good level of modulation. but the best bit is they are dead silent which imo is a nice bonus, leaves ur ears free to hear the wonderful hope hubs;)cheers for your comments... will try and weigh it somewhere today and see how it goes on some decent natty. Waynio
Yo geez, lurking good!!!!Put or leave about 25/35mm stackers under the stem to keep the "+25" b/b rise under control, i think i run 15mm under a Caisso, and Kenny Belaey, under the karbon to keep it feeling sweet you need anuva 10/15mm for the extra 15mm b/b rise.should ride sweet as, 110mm x 10 degree stem, should be god damn funky as pie!!!!Looking good, i do have to say, after you have ridden it a bit dan, i bet you feel that the bike os so totally stiffer than other trials frames.Waynio........................... streetjibs
oh shite! cut steerer this morning so i only got 15mm spacers under... anyways im thinking of puttin a riser bar on which would lift the front a bit hopefully enuff to sort it.thinking a easton monkeylite carbon dh bar... can probly squeeze another 5mm spacer in to help matters. Feels ok but yeah bit low. But after ridin short streetier bikes for soo long i wasnt sure bout it being right. Feels MINT on rear wheel though Hopefully finish this dammed assignment soon and actually get a ride on it ... or else im goin to go insane!!!
