matheprat
Does anyone know the difference in spoke length between a D521 rim, and a Tryall one? Are there any wide rims which use the same length spokes as a D521? I'm trying to switch rims without having to get new spokes. My hub's a Shimano XT front.Cheers
eskimo
It shouldn't matter too much. If in doubt just buy some shorter nipples.

You'd probably get away with it, and you may aswell give it a go before going out and bying new spokes.
Tony Harrison
If anything, you'd want longer nipples not shorter ones. Personally I'd buy a new set of spokes. If you use the current ones, they may be susceptible to getting ripped out of the nipples. From chainreaction you can get a full set of stainless steel spokes and nipples for a under a tenner, next-day posted.
