robb_o
How much difference will there be to my rear XTR v-brake if i swap the current cheapy £5 Outland brake booster http://www.raleigh.co.uk/pandadetails.aspx?ID=3629for a £20 echo one...http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=13i mean, the brake works fine for me, but i can still see the frame (pashley 26mhz) flexing when i brake, so im thinking it could be BETTER. gu_lew
there will be a little bit less flex but not worth £20 stick with what youve got
_Owen.
the echo one may stop it flexing as much, but it wont eliminate the flex.
robb_o
i'm not sure i can bring myself to fork out £20 for something that might not work lol.
CurtisRider
xtr callipers are flexy anyway, that 20quid is better off spent on a pair of deore or sd7 callipers if you really want a good booster, look secondhand for an xtr carbon booster the BEST booster out there by far
robb_o
i have a pair of avid sd7's on my Orange and they do feel SO much sharper than the XTRs.im thinking its because of all the extra bits on the XTRs for the parrallel push feature.
