poopipe
two possible solutions1: drink in the morning - it makes you gregarious2: stop being a fagGetting a new job is fun. There's always someone worth talking to and there's always someone you want to hit - sometimes they're the same person. Unless you work here there are also likely to be girls worth a lech over too. Bluegrass
Apply to your nearest Argos - they employ almost anyone with a couple of brain cells. But be warned, you would be working with a bunch of complete idiots.Working hours are good, i used to work evenings 5.30 - 8pm whilst at sixth form Edited April 25, 2007 by Bluegrass

My last job there were about 5 or 6 girls that I would have loved to get on, why did I leave Drinking is one plan, but you don't want to be pissed at work really, unless you're planning on getting fired in the first week, haha. Pro plus is good for nerves so could try that the first few days, after that you'll be fine!Davey

The works hard, the money pants, but the people can be fantastic and drinking is great fun!
Concussion
Just think back to something you where hesitant to do before and how it worked out in the end and how comfortable you where with it... then just go for it. It will feel alright in the end!Last year I enrolled in a web design night class, shiting myself about it, new people/college etc. Was a bit weird for the first/second class... twenty weeks in, it a piece of piss, super comfortable with it. I'm going to apply that logic to everything from now on = designer job I applied for few days ago.

br3n
working in a bar was the best and most influential decision I've ever made. Met and become good friends with loads of people including some uber hotties (good for winding simon up with) and err yeh, confidence is like 1000x more best choice evaaaaaaaaar!(just dont sleep with a doormans fiancee, they dont like it and you have to move bars... doh!) anzo
So you don't like meeting people you don't know? Right...so a pub isn't really the best thing to choose is it? Theres nothing worse than shy barstaff who mummble and moan.Obviously, you're shy but don't let it put you off getting a job, you're going to be going to college and it'll be exactly the same there...get a job anywhere you can, you'll soon over come it, you don't really have a choice in the matter unless you want to grow up to be a unsocial dole scummer ...in a nice way x
