gu_lew
If your tring to sidehop off of things theres 2 options.First way about it, the straight sidehop: find a wall about 2 feet high to practise on, let yourself fall of the wall a lil bit then hop sideways straighten yourself in the air so you dont land wonky like you took off and ride away with a smile on your face.Second way about it, endo off: (This is the more advanced option) find a wall about 2 feet high to practise on, ride a lil bit along the wall endo, swing the back-end out a lil bit, hop off the nose, straighten in the air, land and ride away with a smile on your face.Hope i helped mate! good luck. echo_897
hopping onto walls .I personaly find it helps to do a big pre-lunge and bounce the tyre like a spring and pull up loads.hope this helps
ManxTrialSpaz
To get high using a static hop method there are 3 main steps:-Dip the front end and get your arse over the back wheel for mahoosive pre load + spring-Tuck in the air.....a lot!-Practice...It's not going to be easy if you're not familiar with the actions+movements required to get heightThose 3 steps are required (but not exclusive) for sidehopping, gapping + static ups. PaRtZ
I found alot of people learning "gap" too much. It comes with confidence on the backwheel + balance, and then you can concentrate on pedalling less and going up more. Also because you're pedalling less you can get a bit closer
danny_cartledge
My advice to you is think about what you would do to jump of a wall without your bike, you would jump, bend ur legs and throw your body forward. Use the same technique when your on your bike. But obviously make it fit in with everything else.Hope i helped Danny....
