Janson
screw it off the wheel and screw it on the crank. done. you need cranks with a thread though, which comes on most mods and even stocks these days..

RobinJI
of course you can put it on. there is no difference, they go the same way. think about it. would be completely retarded otherwise.Should go on fine, and yeah, just unscrew it anticlockwise with the tool, or a hammer and pokey thing if you dont have it. Just check that you're gunna end up with the right number off teeth for the front.
basher
You will need a tool and usualy isnt easy due to the fact they constantly are trying to tighten on more as you kick so they are on mega tight. Get your bike shop to do it its alot easier.

Adam-Griffin
why does it say my topic has moved ?also what can i use to take a freewheel off ??Adam
ogre
also what can i use to take a freewheel off ??your nipples... you need a tool idealy (i think theres one on tarty) hence why most people say take it to a bikeshop. otherwise a chissel/screwdriver(flatheaded) + hammer, put the flat of the chisel/screwdriver on one of th "notches" on the freewheel+hit it alot but taking it to a bikeshops alot easier etc.
