Matthew_Gibson
I have an Avdi BB7 '07 with tthe wavy rotor. and It makes the brake and whole front end vibrate when braking. I think a un-wavy rotor will make this not happen. I was looking on tarty and they donw sell 185mm standard rotors. There is a hope one for 190, That one is 190mmThere is two available on there one is £19 and the other is £22Any diference in the rotor and will this sort the problem out? Thanks for your time! Dan6061
Mine does that.165mm rotor, on 20" wheel.Doesn't bother me though... Wouldn't mind knowing what's causing it though, everythings tight and fine...

basher
How do you work out a non wavey rotor will stop this
Token
I had the same problem, until I changed to a standard rotor. It's because the pressure changes at different points on the rotor.
Ali C
I had a bb7 with old rotor, then swapped to a gothic rotor and it juddered just as you say, however, I recently swapped from a normal rotor to a wavy magura one with no juddering.Make sure your caliper is setup perfectly, the pads hitting square and even, if one side is hitting first it can cause the problem, also, make sure your pads are in good condition with no grooves or chuncks missing. If you do want a new rotor, get a hope mono mini saw rotor, the braking band width is perfect for bb7s and they look the nutz! RomanC
I find that clean sweep rotors work better than the wavy ones. The wavy ones tend to chew up the pads at the ends a lot more.
