toyota200x
Can we see some more pics of the pads in those backings. I have tried to use those before but were to mushy feeling. (might have been the material)I love the look of your bike.

CurtisRider
if you care for your bum, i really wouldn't recommend using those cartridge pads, the pins shear through the material and the pads slip out of the backings, at least glue them in (if you haven't already done so)other than that, proper nice
UrbanLegend
I can confirm Rowan now has silly anchors front and rear. Very impressed
manuel
yeah so first ride and im gonna be changing pads .... they are insane .... no booster, hardly any flex - serious power.... going to try out the standard rim wranglers to see if that is any well er shitter i guess !!! if they are good i may glue em in although - seems abit silly...oh and those pads were fibrax ones .. Xtreme i think they are called (no joke) Edited August 14, 2007 by manuel

manuel
Still running the Ultimate Rowan? what'd you think of it a few weeks on? Cheers dude, Bikes look awsome.ok ive been running them for quite a while now i suppose - and i love them as much as the first day i got them !!! they really are the best brakes (for me at least) ever....zero wobble (pad or arm) so no sound, zero need for a booster, loads of pad choice (for smooth rims at least), Running a shimano XTR lever as they are the nicest shape for me, no bleeding, more power, amazing feel, being able to take the wheel out without letting down the tyre, easier to set up .... the list goes on ....its fair to say (for me at least) they really are ULTIMATE
Tom Booth
Cheers dude, goign to see how my SD5 holds up when my new pads arrive, and if its not upto the mark I think I'll have to get an Ultimate:) Edited September 29, 2007 by Tom Booth
