Fixed Pants™
Would you spend £5.00 on a biketrials DVD?YesWhat is our favourite trials style, Street(normal riding around town), natural, Urban(e.g Matt Berridge, John Shrewsbury)?StreetWho are your favourite UK riders? The people i ride with, Ben, Chris, Nick as they have helped me start trials and improve my riding. How old are you? 15Do you prefer your favourite songs on a biketrials video or a simple well made track which fits with the video? Depends - it'd be useless having one of my favourite drum and bass tunes (very bassy fast and energetic) on a chilled vid.Do you want the video to have different sections from different rides/events.YesDo you like seeing different riders and new places/section, or the same old big gaps as you can appreciate how big they are( eg St.Pauls gap in london and most big riding spots)It's nice to see the old spots, as yes, you can appreciate the size, but it's great to see some new unseen spots!Do you prefer a video which sets the scene and has some nice shots and some experimental parts rather than just all riding?Yes - it's nice to have a video that isn't all trials as it make's you feel almost as if you're there.Anything else which you think makes a trials video stand out? Calm intro, energetic main and a calming end. Good music. Edited April 18, 2007 by Fat Pants

anzo
Would you spend £5.00 on a biketrials DVD?YesWhat is our favourite trials style, Street(normal riding around town), natural, Urban(e.g Matt Berridge, John Shrewsbury)?StreetWho are your favourite UK riders?Tunni, CLS, Ali C for the well known ones.Ben Ryan, amazing rider...a lot of BMX shizzle thrown in with his riding. Entertaining to watch. How old are you?19Do you prefer your favourite songs on a biketrials video or a simple well made track which fits with the video? No, To be honest I think most people choose bullshitty songs which don't match videos at ALL. I find most decent videos come from Norway/Poland/France ect where they tend to come with a relaxed tune and nice smooth editing. UK Videos tend to be of some retard screaming bollocks into a mircophone...Doesn't really match trials at all.Do you want the video to have different sections from different rides/events.Yes, obviously if all the footage was filmed in Birmingham, I dont think anyone FROM the land of Brummies will want to see a whole DVD of people riding on their own turf. Different sections/area with details of where they are would be good so it can promote riding areas.Do you like seeing different riders and new places/section, or the same old big gaps as you can appreciate how big they are( eg St.Pauls gap in london and most big riding spots)No, theres nothing more boring then watching someone gap/drop off X height/length all the time, no matter who they are its the same thing and the same technique. Needs a lot of variety. Do you prefer a video which sets the scene and has some nice shots and some experimental parts rather than just all riding?Yes...a little insight is a good thing.Anything else which you think makes a trials video stand out?:Effects...none of the repeating in slow motion bollocks. And lots of variety. And also videos which show a bit of a social side to trials. Thanks a lot. It's for my Final Major Project at college, you should be seeing it soon! Myspace page also coming soon. Do you want the video to have different sections from different rides/events.Can't hurt can itDo you like seeing different riders and new places/section, or the same old big gaps as you can appreciate how big they are( eg St.Pauls gap in london and most big riding spots)New places, normal ones have been done to deathDo you prefer a video which sets the scene and has some nice shots and some experimental parts rather than just all riding?Yes, like concussion said, road fools stylee. Seeing riders going out in the evening acting like tits, all makes the dvd that bit more interesting and not a full on 60 minutes of solid riding. I often find i kind of space out with constant riding vids, and it all becomes one moving blur.Anything else which you think makes a trials video stand out?:Originality, new lines, new riders, something to entertain and interest. Why pay for something thats the same as every other (insert rider name here)(insert vid number here) video that can be downloaded for free.
