I ride the ultimate mod gearing of course .18/12. (Y)

I find riding with a 18 tooth front freewheel and a 12 tooth rear fixed ( or screw on) sprocket works wonders for me ^_^

Try it out and se what you like best (Y)

Same for me I have a 12 tooth fixed rear sproket and an 18 tooth Tensile freewheel at the front

16 - 12. Once i got over the shift from 18: 12 I found it to be much better. My sidehops have become better, the power i can put into gaps has become better (though i can't put too much in because of my shit bike) i can static up things easier. The only thing that has suffered is roll gaps, and roll ups to back wheel. (We all have different names) Depends what your after. If your after big sidehops, and static moves, then I'd say 16:12 all the way. If your after decent sidehops, and static stuff, but good roll stuff / power stuff. Then 18:12 is for you. This is coming from someone who has run both combinations of gearing :)
